The Opportunity Center combines therapy,case management,enrichment activities and mentoring to at risk youth between the ages of 7-17. Mentors commit to the program for two hours per week for a period of six months. Complete training and professional support is provided.
Mentors must be at least 18 years old, have reliable transportation and submit to a background check, which includes driving and criminal history (at no cost to applicant). The Opportunity Center sponsors monthly group outings and quarterly mentor only events. Our mentors include students, professionals and retirees. Two hours a week can make a difference!!
