Kirk in the Hills' Foster Care Ministry works with the Faith Communities Coalition on Foster Care branch of SOCC to provide outreach and education about foster care in southeastern Michigan.
The Kirk's ministry sponsors drives to collect items for foster children in need, especially for youth who are just entering the foster care system. The ministry outreach sponsors events such as house-warming gatherings and graduation parties for foster care youth. They actively pray for children in foster care.
