The Mentoring Program at City Mission provides elementary, middle, and high school students from the Brightmoor community with adult mentors. The program has a curriculum focused on life-skills and character developement. Mentors and mentees meet at least two hours per week for scheduled programs. Mentors also spend time with their mentees in social settings as much as possible so that they can be a regular positive presence in the teen's life. Mentors are expected to make a one year commitment.
