Marlowe House is a group home located in northwest Detroit that provides personal attention, positive recognition and caring consistency to help young women improve academically while cultivating life skills and developing positive relationships.
At Marlowe House, the program of care includes:
* Therapeutic group living, supervised by a professional treatment team and skilled child care workers.
* Individual, family and group counseling.
* Planned activities such as recreation, arts and crafts, team sports and cultural events.
* Academic education provided by local community schools.
* Age-appropriate work experiences.
* Religious services available off-site, if desired.
* Development of independent living skills including cooking, home care, laundry, grocery shopping and job training.
