After Baby Comes (ABC)

The After Baby Comes (ABC) program supports first-time parents who delivered babies in the Oakwood Healthcare System's Dearborn and Annapolis hospitals. Becoming a parent for the first time is a joy and an intimidating learning experience at the same time; ABC helps parents sort through the practicalities and emotional shifts that come with being a parent.

New parents can turn to ABC for:

* Telephone support
* Home visits
* Community resources
* Parent support groups
* Play groups
* Infant massage classes
* Education sessions

The program is designed to help new parents improve their parenting skills, be able to easily find help if they need it, and connect with other new parents for support.

All first-time parents giving birth at Oakwood Healthcare System hospitals.

Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Services are provided in-home, at the hospital and at other community locations.
