The goal of our Bridge Builders Mentoring Program is to provide every boy in our counseling program, with an adult Christian Mentor who will continue as a support to the child and his parent. Our Mission is to carry out the mandate of James 1:27, "True religion is this, that you care for the orphan and the widow in their distress."
To accomplish this mandate, we desire to raise the overall consciousness of our community in its care of one-parent families, and where unmet needs exist, to directly assist financially challenged parents to raise healthy and responsible children. We are called by God to share the Gospel of Christ with boys of less maturity, by being an example to them of Jesus Christ. We do so by teaching, supporting, encouraging and having fun, within the mentoring relationship. Mentors commit to being trained by, accountable to and growing through the Bridge Builders' Mentoring Program.
