Catholic Social Services of Wayne County

Foster families provide a temporary placement for abused and often neglected children living in unsafe situations.  The safe and caring homes foster families provide warmth, love, attention and security.


Foster Family Care Program offer:

--Skilled and caring substitute families for children who cannot live with their birth parents.

--Children receive intensive case management services; individual or family therapy and comprehensive clinical assessment.

--Each child is managed by a CSSWC Clinician, who meets frequently with the child and the foster family.

--Foster Parents are involved in monthly support group meetings, ongoing training, and several social activities throughout the year.
