Free Referrals: The Oakland County Child Care Council is committed to providing resources to families who are looking for quality child care. A child care referral specialist will work with you to help you find the right child care setting for your child. We can identify options such as neighborhood home-based care, child care centers and before- and after-school programs. Our computerized searches contain information about state licensed and registered child care homes and centers which we can match with your needs. Call our office at 248-333-9545 to request a referral.

Community Liaisons: The Success By Six Community Liaisons provide assistance to families by offering information on community resources, including parent education, child care, child growth and development, and community activities for families with young children. 

Parent Education: The Community Liaisons host parent education workshops as well as other family activities throughout Oakland County. 

Resource Library: Need tips and information on parenting?  We have free information about a variety of child care topics including choosing child care, safety, nutrition, and health, child abuse, child development, behavior management, activities for kids and much more.

Assistance with Payments: If you need help paying for child care, applications and information on programs which help low and moderate income families are available through our office.
