Family Connections

Children have the right to their family, Family Connections cares for and supports children in their homes. The Family Connections program focuses on the family's strengths. The goal is to prevent problems that can harm children.


Family Connections is designed to help families with children from birth to age 5 who have complex challenges and who need ongoing support to improve the way the family functions. The program provides intensive, in-home services, by helping families reduce risks and prevent problems, the program enables children to remain in the home.


Eligibility:

Family Connections is for families with children form birth to age 5 who have three or more risk factors identified on theild Abuse & Neglect Risk Factors Checklist. To be eligible, families must live in Northeast Detroit(Zip Codes 48205, 48224, 48208, 48211, 48212, 48213, 48214, 48215, 48219, 48225, 48234
